Rodney Rieck

     Rodney D. Rieck, 76, of Black River Falls passed away Dec. 2, 2021, at his home.

     He was born in Minnesota but was raised in Bay City. 

     Rodney farmed with his dad to begin with and then had his own farm for many years.

     Rodney met Gemma in Sparta, and they were married Sept. 21, 1985. They continued farming until he graduated from truck driving school in November of 1988. He drove team with Gemma from 1990 to 2006.

     Rodney drove for Greenleaf Trucking for several years before he retired in 2015.

     Rodney is survived by his mother, Irene; wife Gemma; three stepchildren, Sabrina and Jim of Texas and Melissa of Holmen; and four step-grandchildren.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold.

     A memorial service will be held June 11, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Black River Falls.
