CYNTHIA HILL “HAWK”

CYNTHIA HILL “HAWK”
Cynthia Kay Hill “Hawk,” 61, passed away at Marshfield Medical Center in Weston surrounded by family after a long valiant battle with Huntington's Disease.
She was born July 10, 1961, the second of six children born to Vernon Sr. and Betty (Payne) Hill. In early life, she worked on the farm with the dairy cows. She went to school to become a respiratory therapist and worked at the VA in Tomah and the hospital and clinic in Black River Falls.
Cindy loved talking to everyone, the cruise trips she took with Davey, quilting, four-wheeling, kayaking and the six-hour Walmart shopping trips, which most of the time produced nothing.
In 1978 she married Leroy Martin. They had three sons, Leroy, Christopher and Justin. They later divorced, and then she met David Lokken. They married in 1985 and had one son, Michael. They divorced and during this brief split she met Leonard Dennis, which produced her youngest son, Chad.
Ultimately, though, her true love was Davey. He faithfully and lovingly took care of her in her final years as the Huntington’s worsened and was there until the very end.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Vernon, and brother, Timothy.
She is survived by her mom, Betty; sisters Barbara (Tony) Burlingame and Sandra Hill; brothers Vernon Hill Jr. and Richard Hill; her loving and devoted partner, David Lokken; five beloved sons, Leroy, Chris, Justin (Berogan) Martin, and Mike and Chad (Bridget) Lokken; grandchildren Alana, Draven, Kayla, Dakota, Reilly, Aiden, Tristan, Deagon, Trent, Tatianna, Christian, Max, Nicolas, Leonardo and Lillianna; two great-granddaughters, Aurora and Azaelea; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She will be forever remembered for her sense of humor, living life to the fullest, love of her family and fighting spirit.
