LOYD G. BUHLER JR.

     Loyd G. Buhler Jr., 75, passed peacefully in his home Jan. 26, 2024. Loyd was born Dec. 28, 1948, in Milwaukee WI, to Loyd G. Buhler Sr. and Fern Evelyn Buhler (Petsch).

     Loyd in the early years drove truck across the country for 18 years. He then decided to get in the security field where he retired in 2022. His love for his dogs would never wain. His house would not go long without having one or multiple running around the home.        Some of his favorite hobbies were photography, hunting and fishing. One would think his camera was attached to his hand, as he was always taking photos. He loved to make people laugh and thought it was the best medicine. 

     Loyd was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Velda J. Roberts. They had a son, Luke A. Buhler (Melody), and daughter Eddie J. Buhler.

Loyd had three sisters and one brother. 

     Loyd found the love of his life 33 years ago, Andi Jo Johnson. They had a daughter, Melissa E.M. Buhler (Anothony).

     Loyd raised James B. Hobbs, Jacob L. Hobbs and Katie J Booze (Jeff) as his own kids. He did not care what your last name was or where you came from; he was always there for you no matter what and would go to the end of the world for his children. His biggest wish was for his six children to be happy. 

     Loyd had nine grandchildren and two great-grandkids. One of his last words to his kids was, “Give your spouses all the love you can, like I have your mother.”
