ARDELLA RUDY

     Ardella Rudy, 87, of Osseo, WI, formerly of Gilmanton, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at American Lutheran in Mondovi, WI. 

     She was born May 15, 1936, the daughter of Orion and Hazel Olson. She loved to cook, have family gatherings, gardening and to sew.

     She married LeRoy Rudy Aug. 17, 1957, at Evangelical Lutheran Church.

     She is survived by seven children: Richard (Wendy) Rudy of Whitehall, Dawn Wendt of Eau Claire, Scott (Laura) Rudy of Huntsville, AL, Randy Rudy of Whitehall, Mike (Judy) Rudy of Arcadia and Virgil (Jody) Rudy of Arcadia; six grandkids: Jessy (Patrick) Suckow, Ashton and Alex Rudy, Cody Rudy, Chad (Lisa) Rudy and Casey Laehn; eight great-grandchildren: Jadyn and Jordyn Suckow, Domanick Abrams, Kayla (Trevor) Brantner, Tapenga Raycher, Faith Brantner, Raelynn Abrams and Tucker Erickson; one sister, Shelly (Mary) Hummel; and one brother, Herbe Olson.

     Preceding her in death are both parents, Orion and Hazel Olson; Erma and Theodore Rudy, Jeffery Rudy and Merlin Rudy.

     Visitation was held at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at the Schiefelbein Funeral Home, 13507 7th Street, Osseo, Wisconsin 54758. Funeral services were held at 11a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dave Hoadley officiating; friends and family came to visitation at the church one hour prior to the start of services.
