JERRY BROWN

     Jerry Robert Brown, 66, of Pittsville, WI, passed away Sept. 30, 2023 at the Clark County Rehab Center in Owen, WI. 

     Jerry was born Oct. 4, 1956, in Black River Falls, WI, to Robert and Irene (Miller) Brown. He grew up in Melrose, WI, and graduated from Melrose- Mindoro High School in 1975. After school, he went on to work multiple jobs, including the meat plant in Whitehall, SunBursts, Walmart and the casino, where he retired in 2017. On Sept. 28, 2002, he married Lori Reshel in City Point, WI. 

     He was an avid outdoorsman - hunting, fishing, camping and target practice was some of his favorite things to do. He collected guns, or any artillery weapon he could get his hands on, and anything Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Jerry enjoyed his country music, and the radio station was always playing WAXX 104.5. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. 

     Jerry is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Al (Susan) Brown, Andrew (Stephanie) Brown and April Brown; grandchildren Jasmine Brown, John (Emily) Brown and Kaytlyn Brown; siblings Donald (Anna) Johnson and Ione Halverson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Floyd, James, Donna, Lori and Mary. 

     Funeral services for Jerry took place Saturday, Oct. 7, at 12 p.m. at the Buswell Funeral Home. Reverend Terry Marg officiated. Friends and family were invited to visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service there was a luncheon at the City Point Community Center.
