John Michael Borg

John Michael Borg, 70, of Black River Falls, WI, passed away at the Serenity House in Tomah, WI,  Jan. 31, 2026.

John was born to Ralph and Ruth (Muckey) Borg  Dec. 4, 1955, in Alaska. He was married to Sheila McCormick July 30, 1982, until Sheila’s passing in 2023. John was a lover of cats and NASCAR. He owned and operated “John Borg Construction” for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila; parents Ralph and Ruth; siblings Jack Borg, Ralph Borg and Debra Gehle.

John is survived by his siblings, Leanne Diehl, Chris Borg, Susan Doherty, Judi Hannemann, Jeff Borg  and Daniel Borg; and sister-in-law Sands Uridil; along with many other nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral services for John were held Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at the Torgerson’s Funeral Home at  12 p.m. Pastor Elden Simonson officiated. Family and friends were invited to visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Serenity Hospice.
