Ralph Roger Weikel

Ralph Roger Weikel

Ralph Roger Weikel,  84, of Black River Falls, WI, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on Nov. 6, 2025.

Ralph was born April 9, 1941, in Arcadia, WI, the son of Roger and Eleanor.  He would meet his soulmate, Loudene, while working on a farm.  On Feb. 6, 1960, Ralph and Loudene married.  Together they settled in Black River Falls and welcomed the addition of two sons to their family, Rick and Randy.

Throughout his years, Ralph worked on cranberry marshes, spent time as an over-the-road truck driver  and later owned and operated his own welding business.  Ralph wasn’t one for big crowds or long conversations – he was happiest with his family by his side and work to keep his hands busy.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Buzz) Hemstock; sons Rick (Leslye) Weikel and Randy Weikel; grandchildren Melissa Herold, Cullin Weikel, Hannah (Joey) Schmitt, Dustin Weikel, Blake Weikel, TJ Larkin, Chris Larkin and Sara Johnson; great-grandchildren Addison, Braeden, Wesley and Grace; and nieces and nephew Deb (Jay) Hemstock, Linda (Curt) Dougherty and Jim (Jenna) Hemstock.  Ralph will also be fondly remembered by numerous friends, cousins and family members.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Loudene, and parents Roger and Eleanor.

A small funeral service for Ralph will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at Torgerson’s Funeral Home at 11a.m., with burial at Riverside Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  A luncheon at the American Legion will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
